Zack, Amy & Blake

So fun and cute!! In July my cousins came and hung out for a week or so. They went shopping and got some Nasvhille boots, so we had to take some family pics!! ;-) Zack, Amy and Blake are SO much fun...yes, they are related to me, so I'm somewhat biased...but I'm pretty sure everyone would agree with me!!

p.s. Can't wait to see you guys next weekend!!!! ;-)

Scotland 3

Sorry I haven't been very good at updating since last time!!! I kind of got sidetracked by having a good time over here in Europe. ;-)

I've been having a great time over here. Shane, Sara, and the kids have been awesome hosts. I apologize for not having many right now of the kids...I have been out checking out the city on my own...so most of these pics are of Edinburgh itself.

Enjoy!!

Scotland 2

(two days in a row!!! are you excited?!?!? i am!!!)

Today was pretty uneventful, to be honest. The kids are having some trouble sleeping...which means they're going to bed late...but also getting up late. So, we're not getting up til late either!!! ;-) I spent some time walking around today. Found the park that Sara will be able to take the kids to. Hopefully we'll all be able to check it out tomorrow. We all went walking up to the castle tonight...I scoped out some spots to take my tripod to another night.

After the walking around the Royal Mile with everyone, I ventured out on my own and went down to check out the downhill side of it. I went by a Spanish tapas bar I'd seen before and decided to stop in and see if they had rioja. They did. Sooooo....I had to stop in and try a glass...along with my current Outlander book. ;-) GREAT night. I came back to the flat to pizza...which made it even better!!

I'm planning a day walking trip or 2 around here, so will hopefully have some more pics of that soon.

Here's a first attempt at my Edinburgh night photography. ;-)

Scotland 1

Went walking around Edinburgh today with the crew (my cousin Sara and her family (Shane, Zion, Paige, and Maddox) as well as Shane's brother Jordan and his wife Alexis)...so fun!! Edinburgh is a gorgeous city. And, as I'm an extreme fan of Diana Gabaldon, author of the Outlander series (newest book to be released in 2 days and counting!!!!), and the first 3 books are mostly set in Scotland. So, it's extra fun for me to check out sites mentioned in the books. ;-)

Enjoy the first batch of pics!!
